In addition to a variety of new chemical entities, new dosage forms, new formulations, new indications, and new drug combinations, Orient Pharma invested a lot in patent application and gained many important patents. For example, the technical patent application for three-stage capsule filling technology, controlled release of hypnotic agents, sustained delivery of antibiotics, and three layer semi-solid solution filling technology. We have applied for patent approval in Taiwan, Japan, US, EU, and Canada. Patents for other drugs and manufacturing methods are also being applied in many countries.
