Yunlin Plant
In 2008, Orient Pharma invested $40 million USD in a new plant located in Huwei Township, Yunlin County. The total area of Yunlin plant is 15,200 square meters (163,600 square feet) and the main building is comprised of three stores. The plant is conveniently located at about an hour and half from Taipei via the high speed rail.
Yunlin plant obtained the PIC/S GMP Certificate from from Taiwan FDA in July, 2011, and also obtained “Accreditation Certificate of Foreign Drug Manufacturer” from Japan MHLW in April, 2012. In addition, Yunlin plant passed the cGMP inspection by US FDA in April, 2013.
